Henk's first solo album as Boy In Trouble, entitled 'B.I.T.'.
The album consists of 6 drone-based instrumental songs, this album has remained a firm favourite of Henk's. Released in 1989. All aspects of the recording were handled by Henk.
Transferred from tape to hard-disc, it took Henk several nights to polish the original recordings so that they're worth publishing.
"Doubt rented a room at fear's place, somewhere back in the dark alleys of a man's brain. Just now and then popping out to do some shopping..." is what I recollect from those sessions.
December 14, 2006 Subject:
This album was originally recorded in 1989 and in 2005 remastered. It was Henk's first official release after S.N.E.E.K. Surprisingly he left everything behind to create a total new sound. 6 instrumental songs that - looking in retrospective - were hinting at his more recent work. Here we find a band (yep, a collaborative initiative) that is looking for the right direction, which they found on this album. A remarkable debut; dark, sinister, uplifting and dealing with the facts of life. The second album (atmospherics) would contain more weirdness as they expressed during their live gig in December 2005.
Love this album!
